Alex Grady covers North Midlands, Staffordshire, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.
Alex has always loved keeping her own home tidy and clutter free. She finds it very calming to be in a clear space, looking at her favourite possessions and not being distracted by seeing stuff that needs dealing with. She loves to help others achieve this calm too, and has been asked by friends and family to help sort their things and decide what to keep and what to move on.
She believes her thirty year career, teaching children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities, and training others to do the same has really helped her to understand how different we all are, with different skills and talents to offer. Alex has always tried to help and support other people to be the best they can be, and she enjoys offering a practical way of doing this by working with them to clear that cupboard, room or whole house.
Alex left full time work to achieve a better work-life balance and now spends her time tutoring, volunteering, gardening, crocheting and reading. She also enjoys spending time with her adult children when possible. Alex spends minimal time cleaning because when you have less clutter, there's less to clean!
Alex knows the positive impact decluttering can have on mental health and wellbeing; she has experience of supporting family members with depression, anxiety and OCD and she's very gentle and encouraging. She is completely non-judgemental and very happy to meet any challenge with a smile, encouragement and support.
